So.. I haven’t blogged in like forever and I’m dying to tell u ppl about the new Asian dramas/movies that were worth watching.. I know a lot of ppl don’t like to read this, but if I say it’s nice, it’s NICE! WATCH!! Hehe..

Let’s start shall we..? :D

DRAMAS

1.) Stand Up!

(JAPANESE)

I really liked this drama. It was kinda cool. It’s a story about 5 raging hormones teenagers going through puberty and peer pressure to lose their virginity. Although it sounds kind of perverted, it was really funny and had certain innocence to it, not to mention one of my fav actors, Shun Oguri, was in it. It was so weird seeing him play a simpler minded role compared to Hana Kimi but loads of fun. :D

2.) Winter Sonata

All I can say is, after Tree Of Heaven, I went on the depressing drama addiction/spree. Haha.. I don’t know how or why it happened but it did. This drama was, in my usual words, awesome! :P It was so easy to love this drama from the start and before I knew it, I was looking forward to the next episode more and more. I heard from MANY ppl that this drama has a sad ending but I didn’t care. It was obvious why this drama was and is so popular worldwide. I nvr thought Bae Yong Jun was good looking but now............. haha.. u know what I mean.. it was the same with Kwon Sang Woo. I think these actors just have a certain charm in their performing personalities. Oh well.. LOVED IT! 

3.) Autumn In My Heart

(KOREAN)

After watching this drama, I realized how ppl were nt, IN ANY WAY, exaggerating how depressing, heart-wrenching and sad  this drama is. There were some parts where I was thinking, “Can this girl catch a break??” the writers must have a heart of steal for coming up with this storyline but with that said, I have to say that is was a great and MUST SEE watch. Haha.. weird right? I think this drama can clearly show u how this influenced so many Korean dramas after it. Although the brother and sister thing kinda freaked me out, but u learn to let it go after some time and it gets all sweet again. x) I really loved this drama but PLEASE, get a box of tissues ready because u wouldn’t want to get back up to find them after u start watching this.

4.) Kurosagi

(JAPANESE)

Gosh! U wouldn’t even imagine how long it took me to find this drama. I went to great measures to get it but in the end it was sitting right there on the self in Rock Corner, The Curve. Haha.. lucky me!! And THANK GOD it was worth all that trouble. This drama kinda deviates from my usual genre which is romance, but I heard that it was a really good drama and it was. It was addictive. A little silly but ntg I couldn’t live with. It also had comedy and a little romance but ntg I would depend this drama on. The storyline was good and the actors were great. Again, Yamaki were a great pairing and they complimented each other nicely. If u want to watch something with a little puzzle, WATCH THIS!! XD

5.) Boys Before Flower/ Kkotboda Namja (Korean version of hana yori dango/meteor garden)

AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *screams f joy*

6.) My Handsome Butler

(JAPANESE)

I don’t care what my bro says, this drama was AWESOME!! Haha.. Not a believable storyline but it was like watching Hana Kimi all over again. it had a nice flow and good comedy. I couldn’t stop watching this. I finished it in like 2 days. I really enjoyed this drama. I also think that the actors were good looking and cute. It’s definitely one  of my favs!! IF U LIKED HANA KIMI, U’LL LIKE THIS!!           XD

7.) The Smile Has Left Your Eyes / One Million Stars Falling From The Sky

Ok! This drama~~~~~~~  i REALLY LOVED this drama.. even though i'm watching it quite late, it still has a great storyline.. i always wondered what was the big hype about this drama but now i know.. i know what they mean by guessing the revelations but still nt accepting it yet till its certain.. i did the exact same thing..  but pls note! before watching this drama, do not read any (and I mean ANY) spoilers at all so that it won't ruin the ending the for you. Even if u are dying to find out, DON’T!! the drama was a lil draggy sometimes but overall, it was a masterpiece (in a way)

what i love about this drama:
1. the chemistry of the main actors
2. the brilliance of Takuya Kimura's acting (he was REALLY good)
3. the storyline
4. Takuya Kimura looked GORGEOUS in every scene.. i totally got how all those women fell for him in the drama.. i was falling in love with him myself.. hehe..

the end however was a real shocker to me.. i had a mental blackout for a few minutes.. i felt like my heart my stabbed a million times and then repeated again.. it was so depressing.. *sigh* but it was a good ending.. a beautiful (and a lil creepy) ending.. u got to love "forbidden love".. and i dont think there were any lose ends which is awesome! anyway, this drama is a must watch for me.. but its nt suitable for everyone cause its not the normal "innocent" jdrama.. hehe..
